At 17, Anouk de l'Epinois left France to live in England, where she met photographer Duncan Raban. Under his mentorship, she learned analog photography and developed a passion for portraiture. After a year in England, she moved to Berlin. Currently a photography student, she works on various artistic projects to broaden her creative horizons.

Inspired by the South of France where she grew up—Avignon’s theater, Arles’s photography —as well as by dance, poetry, philosophy, literature, and her travels, she also draws inspiration from the vibrant art scenes of Berlin and Rome. These influences have helped her affirm her identity and refine her interest in art direction and documentary photography.

Anouk’s photographic approach is a constant exploration of the complexities of the human soul and a perpetual quest for identity. Each image she creates is a step on her personal journey, seeking to shape her inquiries and offer a visual testimony of this inner quest.
